Despite most of the 24-race schedule being solidified for years to come, there is some flexibility. The Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort currently has a contract only until 2026. In contrast, the Belgian Grand Prix secured an agreement in January to appear on the calendar for four out of six years from 2026 to 2031, allowing room for new races.

Domenicali indicated that Thailand is among the leading candidates for potential future races, alongside other venues. “The good thing that we were able to do in the last couple of years has been to focus on the places that we believe represent the future for Formula One,” he stated during a discussion with Sky Sports in Melbourne.
