BYD Seagull Launches in Morocco with Dual Range Options and Advanced Features

BYD has launched the Seagull in Morocco, offering two variants with driving ranges of 230km and 300km. The vehicle is equipped with BYD blade batteries and features a fast charging capability. Since July 2023, BYD has released six passenger vehicles in the Moroccan market. Recently, BYD has officially launched the Seagull in the Moroccan market, offering two variants equipped with advanced BYD blade batteries. These versions provide driving ranges of 230 kilometers and 300 kilometers, catering to varying consumer needs. Furthermore, the vehicle can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes when utilizing DC fast charging technology.

Since its entry into Morocco in July 2023, BYD has successfully introduced six passenger vehicles, including the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and now the Seagull. The introduction of these vehicles highlights BYD’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle offerings in the region.

During a recent press conference, Adil Bennami, General Manager of BYD’s local partner Auto Nejma, remarked on the Seagull’s design, stating that “this electric vehicle, specifically designed for urban scenarios, perfectly integrates cutting-edge technology with practical design, continuously demonstrating the concept of improving life through technological innovation.” The Seagull is noted for its high-strength car body structure, safety features including up to six airbags, a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen, and a smart connectivity system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, offering an enhanced driving experience with intelligent voice control capabilities.
