Trump criticized the Iran-backed Houthis for their attacks on U.S. aircraft and personnel, emphasizing that these assaults have posed significant threats and economic costs. He vowed to employ “overwhelming lethal force” until the goals against the Houthi factions are met, proclaiming, “YOUR TIME IS UP, AND YOUR ATTACKS MUST STOP, STARTING TODAY.”

Since the initiation of strikes, U.S. forces have targeted Houthi drone, missile, and air defense systems, resulting in the reported downing of at least a dozen Houthi drones.
