On March 25, 2025, the Liberia National Police (LNP) suspended two officers following an investigation into unlawful entry regarding a gray Nissan Jeep belonging to Representative Yekeh Y. Kolubah, parked at the Capitol Building. The investigation, carried out by the Professional Standards Division (PSD), concluded that Chief Inspector Frank P. Banda was suspended for two months without pay for unlawfully entering the vehicle, while Sergeant Sam C.F. Karbah received a one-month suspension for unlawfully opening it.

The investigation was initiated after Representative Kolubah reported a significant theft, including US$25,000, 2,000,000 Liberian Dollars, along with a computer, an iPhone, and jewelry worth US$2,500. The PSD noted the potential impropriety associated with the officers involved and recommended further investigations if any links are established connecting them to the alleged crime.

Police have requested Jack Traore, who allegedly tampered with the vehicle, to undergo questioning. Furthermore, an in-depth investigation is to be conducted involving individuals seen in related video footage to determine any links to the missing items.
