Dixon, originally from Portland, had resided in Ocho Rios, St Ann for over three decades. He was the owner of two gas stations, a car dealership, and an auto parts business in the White River area. His contributions to the community were notable, including donations of equipment to Port Antonio High School and beds to the Port Antonio Hospital in 2017, showcasing his commitment to philanthropy.
