Tragic Car Crash Claims Lives of Malayali Nurse and Fiancé in Saudi Arabia

Five individuals, including two Malayali nurses, Akhil Alex and Teena, died in a car crash in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In a sorrowful incident at AlUla, a prominent tourist locale in Saudi Arabia, five individuals, including two Malayali nurses, tragically perished in a vehicular collision. The casualties, identified as Akhil Alex and Teena from Wayanad, were involved in the accident while returning from a visit to AlUla, located approximately 150 kilometers away.

Preliminary reports indicate that three of the other deceased were Saudi nationals. The collision occurred when their vehicle struck an approaching Land Cruiser, which also carried Saudi citizens, resulting in both vehicles igniting. Unfortunately, the bodies were reportedly charred beyond recognition.

Teena, serving as a nurse at the Cardiac Center in Madina, was preparing for her return to India when the incident occurred. Akhil, her fiancé who had traveled from London to Saudi Arabia, intended to return home with her for their upcoming wedding. Currently, the remains are held at Muhsin Hospital in AlUla.
