Just over 100 election observers and supervisors have been deployed in Nimba County to oversee the upcoming by-election scheduled for Tuesday. This initiative, announced jointly by the Elections Coordinating Committee (ECC), the Liberia Election Observation Network (LEON), and the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), aims to ensure a fair electoral process.

During a press conference in Ganta on April 21, it was revealed that 88 short-term observers will monitor the elections in all nine electoral districts, focusing on critical phases such as polling setup, voting, counting, and tallying. Additionally, 13 supervisors will provide oversight throughout the county, enhancing the integrity of the electoral process.
