Together with a friend, Grenade embarked on a trek to Seguku in an attempt to meet the music icon again, yet again met with disappointment. During this tough period, he took on various odd jobs, including collecting and selling scrap, to make ends meet.

Chance also played a significant role in Grenade’s journey when he met a producer named Mavo in Kamwokya. Mavo helped him record his initial songs under the stage name Moz Dem, which opened doors for a few performance opportunities. Unfortunately, an argument with Mavo pushed Grenade back onto the streets, battling the odds to find his place.

Things took a positive turn when Grenade visited 9 Degrees Bar and connected with Coco Finger, a fellow musician who took him under his wing. This connection led to meeting Big Eye, another notable figure in the music scene, who offered him accommodation.
