Areas located at altitudes above 1,600 meters may experience snow accumulation ranging from 10 to 25 centimeters, potentially creating hazardous conditions.
Heavy rainfall is expected in the provinces of Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Ouezzane, Nouaceur, El Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Settat, Casablanca, Berrechid, Taroudant, and Agadir-Ida-Outanane. The anticipated rainfall amounts to 25 to 40 mm, with the possibility of thunderstorms, and will continue from Friday at 5:40 PM until midnight, creating additional risks for residents.
The same weather disturbance will impact provinces such as Nador, Al Hoceima, Berkane, Driouch, Taourirt, and Oujda-Angad from Friday at 5:40 PM until Saturday at 7:00 PM. Furthermore, strong winds ranging from 70 to 85 km/h are expected in Figuig, Jerada, Errachidia, Ouarzazate, Zagora, Boulemane, Taourirt, and Tinghir from 5:40 PM on Friday until 9:00 PM. These winds will likely cause dust storms, which could impair visibility and air quality.
