“The reports indicate that the girlfriend concealed the prime suspect between February 4 and 17, yet the police did not get a hint. I am surprised because the police are looking for him, yet the girlfriend hid him for that long. It’s a major concern,” Acheampong stated in Twi. He noted that it is perplexing how Braima could remain undetected for such an extended period.

According to updates from Kotoko, the suspect, Braima, fled to Senegal with assistance from his girlfriend, Grace Siaw, who has since been arrested for questioning. Reports suggest that she hid him from the police between February 4 and 17, 2025. Pooley’s funeral is scheduled for March 6, 2025, amidst ongoing discussions regarding the case and the authorities’ response.
