Prior to his arrest, the Brazilian fugitive was first apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol on October 15, 2020, after illegally entering the country. On May 20, 2024, Brazilian authorities issued an arrest warrant for this individual, charging him with armed robbery, which carries a potential prison sentence of up to 16 years.
