Educational Enhancements in Saint Vincent: Tzu Xing Foundation’s Contributions

Under the leadership of President Liza Lin, CEO Ms. Freda Miriklis, and Secretary Ms. Anna Hsieh, the ceremonies celebrated the completion of a culinary vocational classroom at West St. George Secondary School, the donation of assistive devices for the visually impaired at Fair Hall Governmental School, and the inauguration of a science laboratory at Troumaca Ontario Secondary School. Collectively, the donations were valued at nearly USD 110,000.

These ceremonies were co-hosted by Hon. Curtis King, the Minister of Education, and H.E. Fiona Huei-Chun Fan, the Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The events were attended by high-ranking educational officials, principals, and a substantial number of teachers and students from the respective schools. Notably, Hon. Keisal Peters, Minister of Social Development, and Hon. Carlos James, Minister of Tourism, attended the ceremonies at West St. George Secondary School and Troumaca Ontario Secondary School, respectively, to witness the donations firsthand.

Ambassador Fan expressed her gratitude towards the TX Foundation for their charitable contributions, noting that their initiatives foster a stronger connection between the people of Taiwan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
