The case highlights escalating tensions that began in June 2018, when Mr. Kennedy Agyapong broadcast images of Suale on Net2TV, inciting calls for action against him. Subsequently, Suale allegedly identified Koranteng as the individual who provided Agyapong with his photographs.

On the day of his murder, the court was informed that call records traced Koranteng’s presence near Suale’s residence, with further evidence showcasing that he traveled from Madina to Amasaman shortly after the incident. Following the murder, the accused avoided multiple police inquiries and fled to the United Kingdom in August 2019, eventually returning to Ghana where he was apprehended on March 15, 2025.

During the proceedings, Koranteng acknowledged his acquaintance with Suale and admitted to visiting Agyapong, stating he had taken photographs with Suale, but denied selling these images. Ongoing police investigations aim to uncover additional suspects related to this case.
