Revolt Motors Expands into Nepal with Plans for 15 Showrooms
Revolt Motors is entering the Nepal market through a partnership with MV Dugar Group, planning to open 15 showrooms within four months. The flagship showroom will launch in Kathmandu by April 2025, showcasing its electric motorcycle range. This expansion aims to promote sustainable mobility in Nepal and is part of broader plans for Southeast Asia and beyond.
Revolt Motors, a prominent Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced its entry into the Nepalese market, with plans to launch its first showroom in Kathmandu next month. In collaboration with the MV Dugar Group of Nepal, the company aims to establish a total of fifteen showrooms in major Nepali cities within the next three to four months.
The flagship store in Kathmandu, set to open in April 2025, will feature Revolt’s complete product lineup, including the RV400, RV400 BRZ, RV1, RV1+, and the newly unveiled RV BlazeX. Additionally, customers will have access to accessories, merchandise, and after-sales services at all dealership locations.
Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, which oversees Revolt Motors, remarked that “Nepal is a key strategic market for Revolt Motors, given its strong push for clean energy and growing demand for sustainable mobility.” She also alluded to future plans for expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Dugar Brothers & Sons, expressed optimism, stating that Revolt’s electric motorcycles will appeal to the environmentally conscious Nepalese consumers. This expansion follows the company’s successful entry into Sri Lanka, where it aims to promote electric vehicles. Revolt intends to provide promotional offers and thorough training for dealership staff to facilitate the adoption of electric motorcycles in Nepal.
