Muskan Rastogi: The Manipulative Deception Behind a Grisly Murder

Muskan Rastogi, along with her lover Sahil Shukla, is implicated in the murder of her husband Saurabh Rajput. She allegedly convinced Sahil that he was receiving messages from his deceased mother, which played a role in inciting the murder. The couple was arrested after Saurabh’s body was discovered dismembered.

Muskan Rastogi, accused of murdering her husband Saurabh Rajput with her lover Sahil Shukla, allegedly convinced Sahil that she was communicating with his deceased mother. Through messages sent via Snapchat, Muskan claimed to receive messages from Sahil’s mother, informing him that “Shakti (power) will protect you.” This manipulation seemingly drew Sahil further into the murder plot.

In her messages, Muskan referred to herself as the “bahu” (daughter-in-law), stating, “Your bahu has passed. She is now a part of the family.” One specific message claimed that Saurabh’s demise was destined at her hands. Reportedly, Muskan operated three different Snapchat accounts to perpetuate this ruse.

The murder unfolded after Muskan and Sahil were arrested on March 18, when the police discovered Rajput’s body, which had been disposed of in a drum filled with construction debris. Investigations revealed that the murder took place on March 4, after Rajput returned from his job in the UK. Reports indicate that Muskan and Sahil drugged Rajput’s food before committing the act.

Muskan’s relationship with Sahil reportedly began in 2020 while Rajput worked abroad, leaving his family in Meerut. Following the grisly act, Muskan dismembered Rajput’s body, storing it within the drum while her five-year-old daughter remained asleep in the adjacent room. After the murder, Muskan left her daughter with her parents and fled to Shimla with Sahil until their subsequent arrest.

The case of Muskan Rastogi illustrates a disturbing act of manipulation and betrayal, culminating in the tragic murder of Saurabh Rajput. Muskan’s deceptive tactics, including posing as Sahil’s deceased mother, played a pivotal role in drawing him into the crime. The horror of the murder, along with its aftermath, underscores the complexities of human relationships and the potential for darkness within them.
