According to Abiodun, the standoff was a result of a confrontation between Mubarak and Danshehu, both of whom were from the same neighborhood. “During the fight, the said scavenger stabbed Shamsu on the chest with scissors. The victim was rushed to the general hospital but gave up the ghost in the hospital and was confirmed dead,” Abiodun stated. The police have since arrested Mubarak for further investigation into the incident.
