TATA.ev, a subsidiary of Tata Motors and the largest four-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer in India, has partnered with Allied Motors to launch its robust Electric Vehicle portfolio in Mauritius. This lineup includes the Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev, all engineered with advanced high-voltage architectures. These electric vehicles (EVs) promise segment-leading features, exceptional terrain response, optimal safety, and unmatched comfort, while also providing ease of maintenance.
Mr. Yash Khandelwal, Head of International Business at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, expressed enthusiasm about this expansion. Its features include automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a driving range of 190-210 km with a 24kWh battery.
In addition, the Punch.ev redefines compact SUVs, equipped with a powerful 35 kWh battery and a 90 kW motor, offering a practical driving range of 270-290 km. This model also includes an advanced infotainment system by HARMAN, seamless smartphone integration, and enhanced safety features.
Lastly, the Nexon.ev stands out in the electric SUV segment with a 45 kWh battery providing a real-world range of 350-375 km. It features advanced tech, including a touchscreen infotainment system and a 360° surround-view camera, with quick charging capabilities, making it a versatile choice for consumers.
Each vehicle comes with an impressive manufacturer’s warranty, covering eight years or 160,000 km for the battery and motor, and seven years or 150,000 km for the vehicle itself. In addition, customers will receive a complimentary 7.2 kW Home Charging Wall Box and cable with each purchase, facilitating convenient at-home charging.
