Tata.ev, a subsidiary of Tata Motors and a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles in India, has entered the Mauritius market through a partnership with Allied Motors, the nation’s foremost automobile distributor. The introduction includes the Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev models, all designed to combine performance, safety, and comfort. These electric vehicles, built on advanced high-voltage platforms, offer strong performance on rugged terrains and require minimal upkeep, appealing to the evolving market needs.
The lineup features a variety of electric vehicles tailored for diverse customer preferences. The Tiago.ev delivers a user-friendly driving experience with multi-mode regenerative braking, a compact design, and high-end features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen and automatic climate control. In contrast, the Punch.ev encompasses style and innovative technology, boasting a powerful motor, a 35-kWh battery that ensures an impressive driving range, and a sophisticated infotainment system.
The Nexon.ev, the flagship model, is distinguished by its formidable 45-kWh battery and rapid charging capabilities, complemented by an advanced cabin with features including a JBL sound system and a 360-degree camera.
